ASCA to release RFP for decision advantage capability effects
Defence has released Advance Notice of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for research projects to be delivered under the Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator (ASCA) Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDT) Program, for the capability effect of Decision Advantage.
ASCA aims to release the RFP for EDT Decision Advantage on AusTender later in November 2024 with delivery commencing in mid-2025. A one-day Open Co-Design Workshop will be conducted shortly after the RFP release date.
ASCA will be looking for cutting-edge, innovative proposals to apply one or more of the following technology areas to the Opportunity Statements for Decision Advantage:
- Automated Data Integration & Interpretation
- Machine Reasoning
- Multi-Modal Data Fusion
- Augmented Human-Machine Reasoning
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agents
- AI Multi-Modal Foundation Model
- AI Orchestration
The organisation points out that submissions received in response to previous ASCA Approaches to Market (ATMs) are not automatically reconsidered for this RFP.
