DEADLINE ALERT: CBRN Threat Warning System grants
The Sydney-based Defence Innovation Network is inviting academics, defence scientists and industry working in the CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear) sector to attend a workshop leading to a $500,000 research grant.
Entries close at 1200 AEST on 18 July.
The Strategic Investment Initiative Workshop, an online event scheduled for 20 July, aims to bring Defence and research communities together to develop a problem statement that will form the base of the call for proposals through the DIN Strategic Investment Initiative (SII).
The SII will provide $500,000 for a multi-disciplinary team to develop a prototype of the Future CBRN Threat Warning System (TRL4-6) within 18 months. The DIN is interested in proposals addressing:
- CBRN threat detection
- Active sensing capabilities
- Modelling, digital twin
