DSI congratulates winners of Indo Pacific 2023 Innovation PitchFest
The Melbourne-based Defence Science Institute has congratulated the three winners at its Indo pacific 2023 Innovation Pitchfest:
- Best Overall Innovation – MrHenry Hamilton, MRead Limited – ‘Introducing next-gen explosive detection technology’
- Best Maritime Innovation – MsRebekah Manley, OneTide Modular – Mission Deck: no-weld seafastening system for rapid VOO deployment for specialist task operations
Best Presenter – Ms Katie Donaldson, Praxis Labs – Solar that goes anywhere: ‘Structural Solar’
The Pitchfest saw twenty three-minute pitches delivered to a capacity audience, demonstrating Australasian innovation, R&D and collaboration at its finest. The panel of five judges had a very difficult task selecting the winners:
